Customers can exchange by price, size, colour, similar product or a variation of both.

Best of all, retailers remain in control, reviewing exchange requests in the ZigZag Admin Portal and receiving notifications in real time.

How does it work?

After selecting 'Refund', customers are presented with either the option to get their refund back to their bank account or opt for a refund to gift card. Retailers can also set their returns policy to just offer a refund to gift card option.

Customers are then sent a digital gift card code via email and instructions for how to claim the credit online.

The entire process is branded with the retailer's logo and colour palette to provide a seamless experience for the customer.

You can also incentivise your customers to opt for a gift card refund by offering a small token of additional credit. Our research showed 68% of 26–35-year-olds would choose store credit for a 10% or 20% bonus.
